What is a dread kit?
Dread kits are loose dreads that you braid into your hair for extended wear (more than just a day). There is a tutorial on how to wear them here, but there are many different techniques you can use to put them in. The dreads i make are called "single ended" dreads. They have a loop at the top and then its just a normal dread at the bottom. Dread extentions take hours to put in so most people wear them for at least a month. You can wear them for up to 3 months if you install them well. If you take good care of the dreads you can re-use them again after cleaning them. Your hair should to be AT LEAST 3 inches long to wear dread extensions and i recommend putting anywhere from 70 to 120 dreads in. it all depends on how thick your hair is,how thick the dreads you get are, if you have bangs or an undercut, and how full you'd like your hair to be.

The size of the dreads vary. I make 2 different sizes, regular and jumbo. Regular dreads are around the thickness of a pen/pencil and Jumbo dreads are a around the size of an AA battery. heres a photo to better help you choose which thickness is best for you.
The price of the dreads depends on how long you want them,whether you want regular or jumbo, and if you want solid colored dreads or something fancy. To see some examples of the types of dreads i can make click here. You can order solid dreads, blended dreads, and swirls in any available thickness or length. Transitional dreads are also available in any length except short and any thickness. Please note that transitional dreads tend to be a little stiffer than the other styles, but soften up after wearing.
How to order
After you've chosen your dread length, styles, and colors, scroll down to the bottom of this page. Click the drop down menu under the dread length you'd like to buy, this is where you can choose your dread style. After you choose your style, enter your desired colors into the box marked "color(s)" and click add to cart. This only buys you 1 dread, so once you're redirected to your shopping cart change the quantity to however many dreads of that length, style, and color you'd like to purchase. The amount of colors you may choose depends on the amount of dreads you buy. Check out the chart below to see how many colors you can choose for the amount of dreads you'd like to buy and then visit the color chart to see what colors are available. If you want more colors than your dread count allows don't worry, for just 3 bucks you can get another color.

When picking your dread colors keep this chart in mind! If you pick too many colors for your dread count and you dont buy extra colors i wont be able to make your kit until we get it all worked out. When ordering swirls keep this chart in mind also. Lets say you want 60 dreads (which allows you 2 colors) and you get 20 solid black, and 20 solid blue and then you want to get 20 swirls. Those swirls can only be black and blue unless you buy another color because you only have a total of 60 dreads. get it? if you wanted 20 black solids, 20 blue solids, and then 20 green/black swirls you'd have to buy another color.
